What everybody else charges

Most dynamic QR services start between £5 and £15 a month and cap your codes, your scans, or how far back your reports go. Several charge extra for the hosted pages that we include, and most bill your card automatically until you remember to cancel.

Plans are for codes on your own products, or on work you produce for your clients. They are not a wholesale account: reselling access, or running codes on behalf of other businesses as a service in its own right, needs a different arrangement, and we are happy to talk about one.

Our monthly scan allowances are generous rather than infinite, and we would rather publish a number we can honour than promise unlimited and throttle you quietly. There is never a charge per scan, and if you are heading past your allowance we will talk to you before anything stops working.

We do not keep your card. A plan runs from the day you buy it. When it ends your codes keep working for a 60 day grace period under a fair use limit while we remind you, and after that the account rests until you reactivate it. Nothing is ever deleted, and reactivating puts every code back exactly where it pointed.

How our pricing compares

Most dynamic QR services charge between £5 and £15 a month, and the cheaper tiers are usually capped somewhere that matters: a handful of codes, a few hundred scans, or scan history that disappears after sixty days. Hosted information pages, where the ingredients or the manual actually live, are often a separate product again.

Our Starter plan works out at roughly £2.42 a month paid yearly, which is below the cheapest monthly plan most competitors advertise, and it does not cap your scans. Business includes the hosted pages, which is the part that matters if you print food, chemical or textile labels.

What happens when a plan ends

Nothing breaks overnight. For 60 days after a plan ends your codes carry on sending people to the right place, under a fair use limit, while we email you a renewal link. Editing, hosted page changes and scan reports pause during that window.

After 60 days the account goes dormant. Codes then show a holding page with a reactivate button rather than forwarding. Nothing is deleted: your codes, destinations, hosted pages and scan history are all kept, and reactivating restores every one of them to exactly where it pointed before.

This is deliberate. A code on a label, a vehicle or a shop window cannot be recalled, and cutting it off the day a payment lapses would punish your customers for your admin.

Common questions

Do I need a subscription to try it?

No. Make a free code with no card at all. It is plain black and white and it is not tracked, but it is a real code held in your account, so if you print it and later need it to point somewhere else, subscribing unlocks it rather than forcing a reprint.

Does the plan renew automatically?

No. We do not store your card. A plan runs from the day you buy it for the number of days shown, and we email you before it ends. If you buy again while a plan is still running, the new time is added to the end rather than overlapping it.

What counts as a scan?

Any real person opening your code. We filter obvious bots and link previewers, so your allowance is not eaten by software.

What happens if I go over my scan allowance?

We get in touch. Nothing stops working without a conversation first, and there is never a per-scan charge. Allowances exist so we can publish a number we are able to honour rather than promising unlimited and quietly throttling you. If you are consistently above the top tier we will sort out dedicated capacity.

Can I move a code to a different destination later?

That is the entire point of a dynamic code. The printed pattern never changes because it encodes a short link on this site. You change what sits behind that link as often as you like.

Can I resell this to my own customers?

Plans cover codes on your own products, and on work you produce for your clients as part of a print or packaging job. What they do not cover is reselling access to the platform, or running codes for other businesses as a service in its own right. If that is what you want to do, get in touch and we will put a proper arrangement together rather than have you outgrow a plan that was never meant for it.

What if I need more than 250 codes?

Ask. Beyond the Agency plan we would rather quote against what you are actually doing than sell you a number that sounds impressive and then throttle you. Large runs usually need a conversation about scan volume as well as code count.

What happens to my hosted pages if I stop paying?

They stay online and keep serving the information you put there. You simply cannot edit them until you renew. For anything carrying legal information such as allergens, that is the safe way round.
