What everybody else charges
Most dynamic QR services start between £5 and £15 a month and cap your scans, your codes, or how far back your reports go. Several charge extra for the hosted pages that we include, and most bill your card automatically until you remember to cancel.
We do not keep your card. A plan runs from the day you buy it. When it ends your codes keep working for a 60 day grace period under a fair use limit while we remind you, and after that the account rests until you reactivate it. Nothing is ever deleted, and reactivating puts every code back exactly where it pointed.
How our pricing compares
Most dynamic QR services charge between £5 and £15 a month, and the cheaper tiers are usually capped somewhere that matters: a handful of codes, a few hundred scans, or scan history that disappears after sixty days. Hosted information pages, where the ingredients or the manual actually live, are often a separate product again.
Our Starter plan works out at roughly £2.42 a month paid yearly, which is below the cheapest monthly plan most competitors advertise, and it does not cap your scans. Business includes the hosted pages, which is the part that matters if you print food, chemical or textile labels.
What happens when a plan ends
Nothing breaks overnight. For 60 days after a plan ends your codes carry on sending people to the right place, under a fair use limit, while we email you a renewal link. Editing, hosted page changes and scan reports pause during that window.
After 60 days the account goes dormant. Codes then show a holding page with a reactivate button rather than forwarding. Nothing is deleted: your codes, destinations, hosted pages and scan history are all kept, and reactivating restores every one of them to exactly where it pointed before.
This is deliberate. A code on a label, a vehicle or a shop window cannot be recalled, and cutting it off the day a payment lapses would punish your customers for your admin.
Common questions
Do I need a subscription to try it?
No. Make a free code with no card at all. It is plain black and white and it is not tracked, but it is a real code held in your account, so if you print it and later need it to point somewhere else, subscribing unlocks it rather than forcing a reprint.
Does the plan renew automatically?
No. We do not store your card. A plan runs from the day you buy it for the number of days shown, and we email you before it ends. If you buy again while a plan is still running, the new time is added to the end rather than overlapping it.
What counts as a scan?
Any real person opening your code. We filter obvious bots and link previewers so your reports are not inflated by software. There is no monthly scan cap on any plan, including the free one.
Can I move a code to a different destination later?
That is the entire point of a dynamic code. The printed pattern never changes because it encodes a short link on this site. You change what sits behind that link as often as you like.
What happens to my hosted pages if I stop paying?
They stay online and keep serving the information you put there. You simply cannot edit them until you renew. For anything carrying legal information such as allergens, that is the safe way round.
